Another Chapter of Life.

It's been more than a year since the last time I was here.
A lot had happened.
Getting into University. Another chapter of life has begun.
Making new friends. Adjusting to hostel life. Taking new but somehow familiar courses. Familiarise with the system different from before. Joining different activities, etc.
All that and now I'm already starting my life as a second year student.

When I first came into uni i was worried, mainly because there's no other friends taking this course with me. But, after that, I was quite glad, because it was like starting all new again, just like when you first entered kindergarten. You get to meet new people instead of hanging out with the same old friends all the time. You become less dependent on that group of friends that u knew for so long and you take the initiative to meet new people and make new friends.

Hostel life taught you to be more independent as it give you a chance to be away from home and learn to live apart from your family. While it gives you freedom, it also make you realise how much you love your family, how you can miss your mom's cooking and everything that you can do at home.

Activities led you to meeting new people and when you find that one society that somehow you are attracted to and interested in, you stick with it and it gives you a new family. You can feel the warmth it gives, and how much the people inside can link to you in similar ways. They met the crazy part in you, and they have the same craziness in them, so you can fool around and joke around with them. They make you laugh so bad and they are always willing to help when the problems come.

Second year, a lot of stuff going on. Mainly because I've taken in more responsibilities. Need to plan and organise events and activities. A lot of learning going on in the process.
Second year, started majoring course. New courses, new syllabus, new knowledge to learn.
Second year, started minoring course. New thing to learn. Totally a different thing from what I used to study.
So, basically, second year is all about learning. And as busy as hell. Seriously don't wanna think about all the stuff that I have to do and sometimes I just wish that they could all disappear and I can live my life without worrying any things else. >.<
Well, life has to go on anyway. So be it.

Glad that I've joined this new family in my uni life. It adds on the laughter that I experienced everyday.
Glad that I've met a new best friend that shared perhaps similar characteristics. We can talk about some things and nonsense that I may not talk to to the others.
Glad that I've a roommate that can stand my hard-to-stop talking. Haha. I think I've influenced her in some way coz she talks more this semester, or simply because we are more familiar with each other ady since we had been living in the same room for a year, which is a good thing for me as there add another person for me to talk with. Not that we didn't talk to each other last two semesters. It's just that we have longer chats this semester. Haha xD Really enjoyed it.

Overall, it's been a great year and it's going to continue to be great. I hoped. ^.^
Friends are really the best thing you can have, other than family.
They enlighten your days everyday, and they give you memories. Good or bad, they're still memories.
Appreciate the friends you have.

A close friend/best friend:

Someone you don't meet up as often as you like or only once in a very long while, and yet you can still talk and chat and make jokes about anything or everything.

Glad to know that I have a few of those...

(Not sure about how they feel, but at least that's what I think.)

Time flies. It's already the mid of another year.

The more you grow up, the more you realise that time passes so fast.

Every day is just like any other days. You work, study, or do what you have to do everyday and just like that, comes the end of a day, then comes another day, and the process continues.

There may be some days, where things go differently.
You may spend some quality family time or meet up with some friends, have a good time hanging out, chit-chatting, definitely something to remember, something to highlight the week you just spent going through the same routine everyday.

Again, we are back to the same problem. Time flies. No matter what you do, you cannot deny that.

That tells us how precious time is, and yet, sometimes I still can't manage to do what I intended to do. Seriously feeling that I'm wasting time but I can't figure out a solution.
What can I do?! Or what should I do?!
 ...

It's already mid-year of 2013, and soon, will be starting another new chapter of life.
Can't shake off the feeling of fear whenever I think about this. Too much uncertainty.
Sometimes, it feels sucks to be growing up.
But hey, there's no other options right? Just have to bear with it and hang in there.
Because that's what life is. Full of uncertainties.

You just have to take what life has to offer. In the end, things will work out.

I agree. But still, I complain, because sometimes it helps to let all those out of you.

(Still don't know what I'm doing here, maybe just because I was gone from here for a long time.)

1st Dissection

Had a RAT DISSECTION today.
Definitely a 1st time.
A new experience.

Stressed out

Seriously can feel the pressure this time...
For the last few days...
Stress...
Bad mood...
And I just can't figure out why.
Maybe it's because of the exam? Too much things to study?
Or maybe my brain and my nerves got haywire for a little while. (I do think so.)
The feeling just kept coming back!
Hate that feeling coz it's like suffocating you!
And it really made me felt like collapsing...

It's already gone though...
So PLEASE DON'T come back again. I really don't like you...

The GREATEST CNY EVER!!!

Had the BEST CNY this year.
Just feel like it.

1st day of CNY:
My family ♥

3rd day of CNY:
I get to meet up with my very very long time no see friends.
One back from Taiwan, one back from KL and the other one although in Penang but didn't have the chance to meet up.

4th day of CNY:
Went up to Kek Lok Si Temple with my "family". LOL XD
It was fun... and the place was beautiful...

They are great friends.
(It will be much more nicer if they would have just SMILE... :P)

A Small Dream Come True~ ^.^

Had a try on Korean meal yeaterday...
at DAORAE Korean BBQ Restaurant.

I was hoping to have the chance to try on it since... this year.
And I did!

See the spoon? The long spoon. I was always hoping to have the chance to use it one day.
Why? Korean drama influence? Maybe... Hah...
Coz when I saw them using it to "dig" their rice out from the bowl, it seems fun. Haha...

All the small dishes. There're 9 of them. All were free.

The meat.
We ordered two. One is pork slice while the other one is chicken. Both marinated with different sauce. I prefer the chicken than the pork.
The waiter do all the barbeque work and will serve it when it's done. We don't have to anything. Just eat. Hah...

Finally!!! Had the chance to eat what I've been dreaming of to try. The Korean fried rice cake.
Not as spicy as I expected it to be. The sweetness is more than the spiciness.
But still... I was very happy to be finally able to try it. A small dream come true.

It's a soup with soft tofu cooked with assorted seafood and it served with rice.
Don't be fooled by it redness. It's not as spicy as it looked.
I love what it taste!

The egg and the pancake were free.

The table was filled with food, with little space left.

The watermelon as dessert. Very sweet and watery.
They were free of charge too.


However, the service tax is 10%, which is reasonable, for what they did and served.


Spent about two hours there.
All four of us were very full.

Why had my lunch there?
It was to celebrate my aunt and uncle's birthdays.

Really have to thank my cousin for bringing me along.

Went to Queensbay Mall after that.
There were a whole bunch of people.
Proves?
The thousands of cars and the long, long and long queues in PADINI just to pay the bills.
Spent the whole afternoon there and we had our dinner there.

Since I was very tired because of the whole day walking, I went to sleep the moment I hit the bed.

1st F6 Exam

Well, finished the 1st f6's exam last week.
This means that my lower six's life is almost at its end.
Time does fly.
ZOOM! Half the year, gone.
Next year's upper, gonna work and rush like hell.
So many to do in so little time...

But... still enjoy the life, thanks to my friends.
I don't understand how or why but we simply can make fun out of everything.
For me, it's a good thing.
... ...
Just like yesterday's biology experiment.
We were supposed to collect soil samples from anywhere in the school, but we made it an 'adventure'.
We made it like we were burying 'evidence' and called the places 'crime scenes', just for fun.
Then we went searching for the next potential 'crime scene'.
Even digging up the soil needs techniques, which were made up too, by us.
The non-stop laughing throughout the whole 'journey' was killing everyone!
They're so damn funny!
What we did was childish, I suppose.
And it was nonsense too, I know.
But hey, it's a good laugh. Everyone had a good laugh. So... Who cares! Haha!

Well... Everybody do need friends in their life.
They are the one you can fool around with, make fun of and tease but still remains as friends.
So, APPRECIATE your friends!

Hiking

Went hiking today.

At the Youth Park's hill.
Really lack of exercise since...... don't know when. So I think it was good, for me. XD

Organized by us! To be more specific, is the Sixth Form Club committee.
Early in the morning, RAINED... =_=
Luckily, it stopped finally... but not completely.
Anyway, we still continue with the event.

This reminds me of last year. Hiking, to the top of the hill (Station 5), IN THE RAIN, WITHOUT an umbrella! Seriously. After hiking, was covered with rain water and sweat. Eww... Don't know why I'm willing to do that back then. But it made a difference experience, and a special memory i guess.


Today's:

-The first one up.

- On our way down, after finishing everything.

- The prize winners.
(Don't bother finding me in there. I'm not in the list of contestant. I'm on the list for DUTY. XD)

I was at the top (Station 3). The views are great. It's beautiful. So I think it was worth it.


And FYI, WITH an umbrella this time. Big one. Hah!

Fast Five

Spent quite a long time waiting for its release. And when the time comes, didn't have time to watch it in the cinema.
And finally...
FINALLY!!!
Had the chance to watched it today.
TWICE!
haha... XD
Once in the morning. And the second time is at night, when my brother was watching it. ^.^
It's AWESOME!!!
Like Vin Diesel so much!!!
Like him after watching the movie, The Pacifier and the first time in The Fast And The Furious.
Watched xXx before and he was also great in it too.
Missed watching Babylon A.D. before on TV and now kinda regret didn't watch it.
Anyway, Vin Diesel rocks!!! Teehee...
And one person I need to mention is Tyrese Gibson.
His character in the movie will make you laugh so bad.
He was funny in 2 Fast 2 Furious and still do in Fast Five. Hah!
There are some humour in the movie, you'll laugh if you can get what it means. But I think everybody can get it. lol...
Should have watch it in the cinema.
What a waste!!!><
The effects will be so much much much more better than just watching it at home.
But still...
Glad I've watched it and I'm very very very satisfy with it. XD
If there's a 6th, I don't think I'll miss it.



And one more thing.
Found myself watching Ryan Higa's videos (nigahiga) recently.
Some people may not like him but I think he's okay. And he talks very fast too. Very very fast. Wonder how he does that.
Seriously. His videos are so funny. (Most of it I think.)

1st F6 Test

Finished my first F6 test last week.
Should have started my revision earlier. Hmm...
That's my problem everytime anyway.
But overall... I'm satisfy with what I get. ^^

PCGHS Concert Night

Went to my school's concert night yesterday.

Had a FRONT LINE view.
And I don't need any ticket!
How awesome is that?!

Actually I'm just one of the staff behind the scenes. Haha...
Never done this before. Just this year.

Before the actual concert night, we already had 4 times of rehearsal. So basically, I've already watched all the performances. XD

Had a great night though.
Some performances were great, like the dancing by House of Wax and G-buttons, the singing, the Chinese Orchestra's "Love Story + Wedding Dress" (Mix) and the School Band's performance.
Like their outfits, I meant the school band's. Especially the one when they were playing "Pirates of the Caribbean". They dressed up like a pirate.
And can I ask? Why bands like playing this song? haha... XD

It was fun working with them, the drama club people, which was one of the two groups of people in charged behind the scenes.
And the most enjoying part was watching them fooling around before the night began.

He's Amazing. And he's Inspiring.

Learnt about a guy named Nick Vujicic recently thanks to my PA tuition teacher.
A man with no arms and no legs since birth.
But... He love living life. He is happy.
He is such a big inspiration and motivation to all.
I really like what he said.
This is the part I like.
"So what do you do when you fall down? Get back up, everybody knows to get back up because if I start walking, I'm not going to get anywhere. But I'm going to tell you that sometimes in life, when you fall down, you feel like you don't have the strength to get back up. Do you think you have hope? Because I tell you, I'm down here, faced down and I have no arms and no legs. It should be impossible for me to get back up. But it's not. You see, I will try 100 times to get up and if I fail 100 times. If I fail and I give up, do you think that I'm going to ever get up. No. But if I fail I try again, and again and again, but I just want you to know that it's not the end. It matters how you're going to finish. Are you going to finish strong? 家好的生日

难以形容的一天。

有泪，有笑。

打从大家开始计划的那一天，就很期待今天的到来。因为，我知道，今天，会是很难忘的一天。今天，会有大家一起哭，一起笑的场面。果然，一切都在预料之中。

毓娃说，家好为了我们，推掉了其他约她的人。所以，压力还蛮大的。怕。怕我们给她的，会不足够，会不成功。因为，说好了要给她她想象不到的惊喜。

对于我们送的蛋糕，她不意外吧。因为这招在瑞文生日的时候已经用过了。

对于已经说过不能回来的玉贤的出现，她很惊讶！真的骗到她了。我们好厉害哦！玉贤的演技太棒了！哈哈。

对于我们给她的短片，应该是出乎她的预料了。里面有很多我们之间的回忆，还有我们给她的祝福。就知道看了一定有很多人会哭。连纸巾都不够用了，是不是很夸张？哈哈。很感动的短片，很催泪。乐育，辛苦你了，你太棒了！短片做得很棒！谢谢你。还有，要谢谢毓娃和依盈，想到这个计划。

至于我们送她的礼物。。。两天内折完的星星。总共1038颗。1000颗，是原本要送给她的。另外的38颗，代表着我们S5B的每一个人，都与她同在。1038颗里，其中4颗是特别的，里面有写字，都作了记号，就让她慢慢去找吧。哈~

家好说，她也有礼物要给我们。原来，也是一个短片。看来，大家的想法是一样的哦。真是心灵相通啊！

欢送会 + Robert的生日

今天，又和美女们到redbox去k歌了。 只不过，这一次的聚会，可算是欢送会吧。很多都要走了，到外州去留学。还有还有，替瑞文提早庆祝了生日。

给了她一个很大的惊喜。结果她哭了。感动到哭了。是有点吓到我们，因为没想到她会哭了。但，还是很高兴，整个场面就是温馨，温馨，加温馨。

偷偷点了生日歌，又怕被她看到，所以就死命地轮流挡在点歌的小电视面前，假装忙着点歌。中途还出了点小状况，竟然宕机了！吓死我们，几怕穿帮了。惊险~ 哈哈。。。生日歌响起了，蛋糕被捧进来的那一刻，她都吓傻了。收到礼物之后，慢慢的，她哭了。

瑞文说，她完全没有想到我们会提早帮她庆祝生日。拜托~ 我们很多东西都做得蛮明显了吧。难道就没发现我们今天都很忙吗？一直进进出出的。她说，以为我们冷，出去取暖，以为我们喝太多水，上厕所去了。拜托拜托。就像雪莉说的，瑞文，你也太后知后觉了吧！那真的是你的本性啊！所以说，你是energy, e，因为e=mc^2 [慧萍姐讲的咯。] ，你是blur blur, mcc的咯。还是很严重的那种咯。哈哈哈！XD

这一次的惊喜，是很成功的。瑞文后知后觉的性格可能是其中一个因素吧。哈哈！

还有，每次去k歌，一定会点到叮当的“我是一只小小鸟”，好像变成我们班的特征了。每次都只有我们的吴家好同学唱得起。[她用喊的。] 哈哈。还有，当然也少不了林忆莲的“伤痕”，因为，“女人独有的天真，和温柔的天分”这句话，已被家好‘盗用’来形容自己了。哈哈哈！

很特别的一个聚会。

玩得很开心。累~ 但很开心。
